Singing Contest Posters

There are two phrases of the Singing Contest that takes place in SFU Burnaby campus. It is a competition targeting Chinese students from SFU. I communicate with club executives about theme of the event and concept of the competition, and worked alone to create these three posters used for different purposes.
The first one is for the preliminary round, targeting competition audiences, which is used to encourage people to come watch the contest. The second one is also for the preliminary round, targeting competition singers, which is used to ask them participate in the contest. The third one is for the final round, targeting competition audiences, which is used to ask people to vote for their favourite singers.
HKS Business Card

I discussed with club president about the requirements and limitations of printing the business card, worked alone for this design and received feedback from club executives for improvements. This business card was distributed to over 300 club members and multiple sponsors.
HKS Club Orientation Night 2018 Poster

As a lead graphic designer of HKS Club, I worked alone to design this Orientation Night poster with a new designer coordinator from the club. This poster was used on club day to attract new club members to join the club in addition to participate in this event.
HKS Club Mah-Jong Event Poster

As a graphic designer of HKS Club, I worked alone to design this mah-jong competition poster that were used to display on club day for promotion and on the school advertising board. In addition, it was also posted on different social medias. As a result, this poster has attracted many people to participant in the competition and the event ended successfully.
To-U Company Poster

I worked individually in this poster design for a start-up company To-U. It is a tutoring company that mainly targets at university or college students. These posters are intended to notify current or potential students what courses they offer. These posters were posted on both Facebook and Wechat, which in the end attracts many students to sign up for the courses.

As a lead designer of the club HKS, I work alone to design event posters. For a recent event, I designed for a simplistic, clear, and eye-catching poster which attracted many new members to attend this event. This is a club intended to welcome Cantonese students to meet new friends by attending events.
Education Course Brochure Design

I worked in team of three (Sophia Kitazume, Vicki Huang) to research this program MindUp, the lessons offered in the program aim to improve children’s thinking and behaviour from both emotional and cognitive aspects. I worked individually to design this brochure and have received positive feedback from both peers and instructor.
